SYNOPSIS
Do you have a team that is not colocated and possibly spread out not only around the US but around the world? Do you suffer some of the challenges of differing cultures, time zones, and languages? As the world gets smaller this becomes more and more the norm yet management is not always clear on how to operate so that it appears like one seamless operation. This course discusses the challenges of working in a global marketplace, and in particular what it's like to manage projects this way. Attention is given to overcoming these special obstacles, dealing with cultural differences, creating a sense of unity, improving communication, all while managing a project where you still need to meet deadlines and budgets.
